A Town in Hungary from which the term coaching derives.  The town of Kocs was famous in the XIV century for its manufacture of sprung Coaches.  Through the city lead a busy route from Vienna to Budapest.  That is how the name of the town gained popularity and has been borrowed by many languages, English amongst others.
