Silence in coaching

A Coaching session is a dialogue in which prolonged intervals of silence occur more often than in a casual conversation.  During a session, a Coach works mainly with the help of questions.  However, even the best questions make up only for half of the success.  Silence and space are an extremely important element, which should take place practically after every question.  This time is for The client.  The Coachee needs some space to find certain information, to arrange notions in his head and access his own inner States.  Such space is indispensible for The client to give him the possibility to absorb, digest and assimilate content and reactions which in turn awake questions that trigger internal answers he may later verbalise.
